If you are one of those people that rely on mass media outlets to define what is important in life, you might think that happiness can be found in things like wealth, owning a huge house, driving a luxury car, or following the latest fashions. In reality you couldn't be any farther from the truth. Quite often we take for granted our family, friends, health and the ability to serve others. "You don't have to be led by the dictates of a consumer-driven society," says Robin A. Sheerer. What i really love about the holiday season is all the time we get to spend with family and close friends and the reminder of what is truly important in such a lost world.
