In the words of Wordsworth himself poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings. It can be a lot of things to a lot of people.
Bent on the sole idea that it cannot be pinned down by one specific attribute.
The world is my canvas and I paint it with my words".

My brother Nick has begun writing slam poetry and I think it's groundbreaking. We need more people to stand up for what is right and portray that in a way this generation can connect and grasp to it.

"I believe that spoken word is powerful beyond measure. That it can break down walls and barriers in both the physical and the spiritual realm. I have begun this journey because I am tired of seeing a world that is falling to pieces and dragging all of my generation with it. I want to be different, to make a stand for what I believe in and use the gifts and talents that God has given me to communicate the liberating message of a living breathing relationship with God. The status quo is no longer good enough".

If you are one of those people that rely on mass media outlets to define what is important in life, you might think that happiness can be found in things like wealth, owning a huge house,driving a luxury car, or following the latest fashions. In reality you couldn't be any farther from the truth. Quite often we take for granted our family, friends, health and the ability to serve others. "You don't have to be led by the dictates of a consumer-driven society," says Robin A. Sheerer. What i really love about the holiday season is all the time we get to spend with family and close friends and the reminder of what is truly important in such a lost world.

Ashville, NC

We're out in Asheville NC checking out the area before we move out here in march, the scenery here is amazing! Nothing like a cup of coffee and an amazing sunrise over some mountains.

We get ready to fly out to NJ and the first thing that goes wrong is sharahs phone alarm either doesn't go off or we slept through it since we had to leave at 2:45 am. Second thing that goes wrong, The rule for checking luggage is that you have to be 45 min early to check your baggage and we missed that by 5 min!! So we get bumped to the next flight at 10:45 and at 11:00 we still haven't boarded so i went and up to the desk and asked what was the deal and they said there was a quarter size paint chip on something (at this point I didn't care the details) and we couldn't leave until they took a picture and sent it to maintenance to clear. All that to say we made it and it all turned out awesome.

Leo and the Frogs

So our dog Leo has found some new friends in the backyard. We have a small koi fish pond and there's a family of leapord frogs living in it. Leo sits and waits for his time to come when he gets to finally go outside and try to catch one, he sticks his head in the water trying to snatch them out. It's hilarious! here's a pic of him searching for one.

Saturday morning

We went on a nature trail Saturday with Chris and Leo (Our half Golden Retriever half Rottweiler.) Chris decided he was a monkey and wouldn't stay out of the trees, we waited almost an hour for him to finally get down. Enjoy the pic's

I went over to Ally and Kendrix house and we had an awesome steak dinner! (Thanks ally!) In return i got to shoot their little man Kingston. Although he wasn't full of smiles we had a great time!
